Shipping

Our shipping fees are calculated according to the order weight and the destination. Please note that international duties and taxes are not included in the purchase price. If you would like to have your item delivered to a country outside of Australia, please ensure you are aware of any additional taxes that may be applicable in your particular shipping destination.

Please note that all international deliveries are required to sign for the package. This is to protect both the receiver and Unearthed against theft and fraud.

Sendle is our primary carrier, with transit times generally taking around 1 week within Australia, and 2-3 weeks internationally. Once your order has been despatched, we’ll be in touch with your tracking details so that you can keep an eye on your shipment’s progress.

Most of our ready-to-purchase pottery items are shipped the next business day. If there are any potential delays, we will notify you as soon as possible and work through a way of rectifying this in a timely manner.

Our made-to-order turnaround time is approximately 4 weeks. Custom ceramics may take up to 7 - 8 weeks depending on the design and volume. We will notify you as soon as possible if we're experiencing a high volume of orders that may result in a longer waiting period.

Please inspect all packages upon delivery and notify us immediately if the package appears to be damaged. If any items arrive damaged, faulty or not as described, please notify us within 24 hours of receiving the goods. We’ll then work through the necessary steps to find a solution to the issue as soon as possible.

Returns

A great deal of time and care goes into the creation of each Unearthed piece in our collection. It is our hope that you adore your purchase from our online store, and that it is treasured for many years to come.

As they are crafted especially for you, please note that we don’t provide refunds for made-to-order or custom made pieces.

In the case of ready-to-purchase wares, if you aren’t completely happy with your purchase, we’ll gladly provide you with a credit note to use at our online store upon the safe return of the item. We require that returned items are in an unused, undamaged state in order to issue a credit note to the value of the returned item. Please note that return shipping is payable by the customer, and that the item is not covered by our insurance on its journey back to our studio. When purchasing return shipping, we recommend taking out a cover with your carrier in case any damage or breakages occur in transit.
