Ashes Urns

Of recent times, I have been asked to make some bespoke Urns for several customers. This is a very humbling thing to be asked to make…deeply personal for the client and an object that will stand the test of time. I am working with the client to make a bespoke design and also have two of my own unique designs that I can make up. They are made-to-order so that we can put a personal message underneath. My first design has a single feather carved into, representing the fleeting moments we are on this earth. The second is based on a coastal concept - with rippling dunes quietly melting around the round walls of the Urn. Both have a rim on the lid to place a tea candle in for reflection. They are not something I intended to make, but I am pleased now that I do.
