Abalone Dishes - Set of Three
These little ceramics Abalone Shells are sold as a set. The Shells are made with a grainy clay and the moulded indents from the shell are highlighted by the simplicity of the soft glaze palette of Ash, Grey and Graphite. They add a tactile interest to any cheeseboard and create a story of their own when you use them.
Each piece is individually made and size and markings may vary slightly which is of course the beauty of a functional artwork like this.

This handmade pottery is moulded on an Abalone Shell found on a Mallacoota beach. They are glazed with Ash, Grey and Graphite glazes and are raised off the surface gently with four little feet..
Fired to 1200degrees
