Quartz Bowl
The Quartz bowl is a unique beautiful handmade bowl. Glazed with Ash glaze on the inside, and soft grey on the outside over painterly Iron oxide strokes on the outside reminiscent of Japanese ceramics. It is perfect for salads or for serving hot and cold dishes and brings a rustic character to every meal with its earthy origins and human craftsmanship. Some glaze drips on the interior edge remind you of the handmade origins of the piece. Nothing is a nice as the heft of a handmade pottery bowl - it’s a joy to use.
Each piece is individually made and size and markings may vary slightly which is of course the beauty of a functional artwork like this.

This handmade pottery is thrown on the potter’s wheel using Mid Fire clays. Glazed with a Soft grey exterior and ash interior over broad Iron Oxide brush strokes
