This Extra large pottery Terra Firma Bowl starts it’s life as a whopping 4 kilograms of earth. It has a magnificent heft and weight to it that reminds you of it’s original solid source. The surface is a gentle blend of Oatmeal, Crackle and Blush glazes, and the grain of the clay is evident with the raised iron flecks that give it a lovely touch. This bowl is a perfect feature bowl or fruit bowl and is a completely unique tableware talking piece.

Each piece is individually made and size and markings may vary slightly which is of course the beauty of a functional artwork like this.

This handmade pottery is thrown on the wheel, glazed with Unearthed glazes and fired in the solar fed kiln.

Fired to 1200degrees
