Inspired by the discovery of precious metal hidden within ancient rock formations, the Bronze Seam Plate explores the meeting point between strength and rarity. A rich bronze seam flows across the surface, evoking mineral veins revealed through layers of weathered stone.

Handcrafted from a blend of mid-fired clays, each plate develops its own unique character through subtle variations in texture, tone and form. Studio-made glazes in Bronze, Umber and Cracked Earth create a richly layered surface that recalls rugged landscapes, eroded rock faces and the quiet beauty of the natural world.

Both functional and sculptural, this piece celebrates the beauty found where contrasting elements meet, transforming the language of geology into a timeless ceramic object.

Item Details

This handmade pottery is thrown on the potter’s wheel using Mid Fire clays. They are then individually glazed from Studio recipes.

Fired to 1200degrees

Dimensions: Approximately 24 cm (W) x 3.5 cm (H)
