Crafted from Australian clay in my Melbourne studio, every urn is individually wheel thrown, carved and glazed by hand. Inspired by the stillness of the natural landscape, the gentle form and tactile surface invite touch, offering a comforting physical connection to memory.
Designed with a 3-litre capacity, the urn is suitable for the ashes of an adult. A space for a tea-light candle is incorporated into the lid, creating a simple space for reflection and quiet ritual.
Every urn is made in close collaboration with each family. This featured piece was inspired by the significance of feathers, with deeply carved textures creating a unique surface that honours a personal story. An inscription may also be added to the base if desired.
Created slowly and with great care, each urn is made from Australian mid-fire clay and finished in my studio glazes. I welcome the opportunity to discuss your ideas with warmth, compassion and respect.
