The mug is wheel thrown and finished with heavy Coal glaze, blotched with a lustrious Bronze glaze and the makers marks left on the base of the mug. The accompanying plate is also thrown on the wheel and then finished with a combination of Coal and Graphite glazes that are bold and graphic.
